Castiglioncello, enjoy the cuisine by Francesco: tradition and innovation in the "Pearl of the Tyrrhenian sea"

My friends, welcome to My Own Italy! If you are enjoying your holiday in Tuscany and you'd like to enjoy your relax and leisure in the enchanting Castiglioncello, my personal suggest for your dinner is Ristorante in Gargotta da Francesco.

The specialty of this restaurant, managed by the mother of Francesco, is with no doubt the fish. I suggest you to taste, according to the season, the excellent zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp on a fondue of squaquerone cheese, then a sautéed clams with polenta and some Tuna served in a bowl of bread baked with a sauce of tomato and herbs: absolutely delicious!

The wine selection is appropriate and there are also innovative proposals of red wines to accompany seafood dishes. Last, the location is very pleasant: the dining room is not too large and you have the possibility, in summer, to enjoy the outdoor patio just few steps from the beach. 

Leisure me: this is my tourism!
